About Jhoanna Avelino, Junpeng Huang, Akif Ali and Gregory Stevens

My current academic interests span from gambling and substance use behaviors to diabetes risk reduction to the ways immigration policies like the Public Charge rule shape access to care and housing stability. I'm passionate about bridging evidence and action, and I'm eager to contribute to public health efforts that create real & lasting changes at the systems level! Outside of school work, you'll find me watching political comedy because satire says what policy briefs can't.
