Laura M. Smith is a senior health services researcher and the director of RTI’s Quality Measurement and Health Policy Program. She has more than 15 years of research experience including 10 years in leadership teams managing large multidisciplinary teams providing support to the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services over the full range of quality measure development and implementation activities. Dr. Smith has provided senior scientific leadership for multiple cross-setting post-acute care measures developed and implemented for national quality reporting programs.
