Rosemary Hurzeler, RN, MPH, is President and Chief Executive Officer at America’s first hospice, The Connecticut Hospice. Established in 1974, under Rosemary Hurzeler’s leadership, The Connecticut Hospice addresses the physical, spiritual, and emotional needs of patients with advanced irreversible illness, and their families. In addition to her leadership role, she has contributed to over two decades of research focused on improving the transition from acute to hospice and palliative care.
